Life beings....with Mumma and Daddy...

As kids we worship our parents. There is nothing that daddy can't buy and there is no pain that mama cannot kiss away. It’s funny how we go through these ups and downs with them, loving them, hating them, crying with them, crying for them, hugging them, running to them. Mom and Dad could always make everything all right, could transform the darkest night with a warm hug and the most accurate words. Dad's laughter and Mom's pretty smile is the solace of every child and I don't think we ever completely outgrow that.

I thought that we turned into mature adults when we realize our parents are not heroes, that they have feet of clay. That is the time we realize their fallibility, their vulnerability and that they don't own the world. We feel all grown up and big when we understand this.

However we truly become mature when we realize their greatness, their worth and all that they have given us, they who are not heroes but mere mortals like us: trying their best, failing as often if not more than succeeding...trying to mold us after them, taking our resistance for disobedience, breaking their heart over a wrong choice, over words sharply said...cooking lavish dinners, letting us sleep late and yet too shy to say we love you.

I realized that despite of being just ordinary folks they made for me and my sibling a warm nest. None of us come prepared in this world to become parents and no kid comes with a user's manual, they learned on the job and if they made a mistake they broke their lil hearts over it. To be this big person for this little child who looks up to you for every little thing must be an arduous task which no sane person would willingly take if it were not for the sheer love of the child....for the joy and pride that they take in their brood. No child is really as wonderful as his or her parents imagine them to be but they believe in us far more than we ever will.

God bless mine and all the mammas and all the daddies in the world.

Bounce !!!

Let’s zip back into a nostalgic mode for a moment. Think of all the games you played when you were a kid. Don’t be shy. From the most enjoyable moments of Hide n Seek, to the silliest games you made up, like house or catch-your-nose-n-turn-round-n-round (No idea what that game is).
One of my favourite things to do back when I was a kid was to jump up n down on a springy bouncy bed. I remember a few of my friends had these beds in their home which was entirely made up of bouncy springs. I mean, I can imagine the boinginess of it even now. And we’ve spent many many evenings just bouncing and giggling at the whole big deal.

To the grown ups, it was a silly childish act which would result in the ruining of the bed springs.

To us, it was a game. A game where you jump, feel weightless when you reach your peak altitude, and drop like a rock and hit the springy surface only to be pushed again. When you do this in tandem, or with three or four partners of different height and weight, it results in mis-timing on someone’s part. That means when you hit the surface and take off, someone would just hit the surface, loose their balance and tumble. More often than not, the tumble would be in multi-dimension. Hands on one side, head the other, legs absent. I needn’t tell you the quality of the uproarious laughter that would result in. And then you fall laughing, and still keep bouncing.

The whole deal would go on until we tired. Upon which it would mean a run to the fridge, gulp water, and back. Boredom was science fiction when you had the most simples of toys and an imagination stretching beyond infinity.

Of course having someone to share the moment with just multiplied the fun.

So when today I felt cheery in the morning, I realized I want to Bounce. Sitting on your chair and bouncing is so lame it isn’t even funny. I miss the beds or trampolines at the amusement parks. And I realize, once again, growing up in age has resulted in me losing out on such enormous amount of fun and never ending laughter.

Thinking from a grown up’s point of view as well, jumping up and down on a trampoline or Re-Bounding is a major cardio-vascular exercise. Supposedly, an hour’s rebounding burns more calories than jogging. And its less harmful to the joints and mood. In fact, get a partner and you could laugh through it. Laughter would induce more endorphins, the feel good hormone. And Voila, you have lower stress levels, higher energy, more calorie burn and most importantly, FUPER FUN !!!!!

So stop acting all grown up, and if you feel happy and you know, Jump and Bounce :D

BOING BOING !!

SOMEBODY GET ME A TRAMPOLINEEEE !!!!!

I demand Euphoria!

We are C and H. I am C And my best friend H...together we are CnH..no points for guessing where we get our inspiration in life – The Maestro of our life’s philosophy Bill Waterson and his Legends...CALVIN n HOBBES!
As for us; we exist. We are no automated message service or mechanical postings. We live. We live an inspired life. And what more vivacious way of living than sharing these inspiring flights with you! Inspired by our Idol Bill Watterson we (C n H) believe you should be known for the work you do, and your work should not be known for who you are. Let us be known for the work we do, and once you read this entire page we would seem more like a friend than some strangers.
We are just like you. Possibly a reflection of yours… someone who gets easily lost in today's fast paced life… who wants to stop for a while and wait and watch how life moves… who wants to be just ‘myself’... Wants to be accepted for what I am… who wants to appreciate life… who wants to live and not merely exist… who wants to change the world with at least a few things in life to smile, laugh and cherish about… To catch hold of the lively, vibrant feeling and say IT BEGINS HERE AND NOW!
You can find us just around the corner…on an early morning a few feet away from you engrossed in a brisk morning walk…or over the Internet…or biking through the town…in the car driving or say rather specifically find way out through city's traffic…or sitting next to you on a bus…waiting on a platform to catch the next train…walking through the streets of your city wondering how fast this life moves…living every breath, breathing its vibrancies… Thanking God for the beautiful next day that has to come… and hoping to inspire YOU out there..reach out your heart, mind, soul n wits to yell out n cheer wow..LIFE BEGINS HERE N NOW! ;-)
Our Motto : live it to the fullest; make the most of it, and make everyone a part of it!
Life’s awesomeness is amazing! Share it show it…What’s the point of wearing your favorite rocketship underpants if nobody ever asks to see ‘em? So yes we are here to roll the drums LOUD coz That’s the difference between me and the rest of the world! Happiness isn’t good enough for me! I demand euphoria! B-)
All that matters is the smiles, the laughter, the inspiration...
And look!! By this time, even we got to know something about you. You've got lots of patience that you are still reading till this line. Hope to tickle you soon…sooner than you reckon! ;-)
Cheers to you!
Cheers to Life!

Life begins here and now... Let's go exploring...!

NO, I don’t care where you come from,
Nor do I care what you do.
What you thought is your prerogative alone
What you did about what you thought, and what you faced due to it, is your cause and effect ping pong game.

Then why am I writing this?
I hope you and I will both find out by the end of this.

The name of this blog was thought out to be Life begins here and now by me and my best friend, the mastermind behind this blog, and the co-author of it.

And at that time all that was running in our minds, was to get started on a blog where we can put our day to day experiences and also the experiences of our past to be brought to the foreground, ‘coz it might just help someone, or if it doesn’t, then just bring a smile to them.

Now this post started with a disclaimer about how you don’t really matter. But it isn’t entirely that.
What it really points towards is your past (Or atleast that is how it is intended to be).

The past is basically the definition of who we are. You ran through 16-20 years of your life studying to be able to stand where you are today, or you are still running that marathon. No one has to really know the ABC song, but learning ABCs are imperative as they help you with your communication. No one today cares how fast you learnt your spellings or how difficult was it. What they do care is how well it has affected you, and how well it reflects in the visage you present today.
Ergo, every aspect of your past, your ABCs, your Numbers, your algebra lessons, your geography lessons, your science experiments, further onto your technical, medical or other commercial courses have all taken place for one reason, to prepare you to stand where you are today.

In the very same way, apart from your academics, you have faced spiritual and emotional downfalls and uplifts, you have seen moments of extreme joy and sadness, you have seen acceptance, you have seen rejection, you have seen hope, you have seen hopelessness, you have seen contentment, you have seen depression, and all these have again taken place for one reason, to prepare you to stand where you are today.

See what I’m getting at??

Essentially speaking, every moment of your past, from the moment you were born, until this moment that you are reading these lines, you have been a work in progress. Your past has been an instrument so that you fully appreciate what is coming ahead. Just like you appreciate the beauty in a tall mountain by recalling the lessons about the geographical phenomenon that took place for it to come about.
You were being prepared…..So that you are ready when Life begins.

And Life begins here….and Now.

See the point? All the events that transpired before this moment have all been to prepare you to face Life which begins right now. This very moment.

But unlike a traditional start-stop rat race (which the popular media has hammered into our minds) Life’s starting points aren’t relegated to being 1 or 2

Life begins anew everytime you learn something new, everytime you experience something different, everytime you see something never seen before and go “WOAHH”

For a student who is in the process of starting his/her graduation, your life begins NOW, for until this moment, all you have been through is to prepare you to begin your graduation.

For a mother with a newborn, your life as a mother begins NOW, until now you were just a woman, now you are a pathway to heaven for the little angel in your arms.

For a random teenager or a youth who is reading this from his/her bedroom or office, your life begins now….your mistakes and your triumphs were nothing but board pins which have charted your lifeline in a multidimensional format so that one fine day when you are lying and waiting for the angel of death, you look back and go, “Awesome”

Or “Damnit” (for the more stupider of the people reading this, who love being a depressed negative witless wonders)

No matter who you are, no matter where you come from, consider life to begin NOW, this very moment. And look at everything that has passed before as a coaching lesson to prepare you for this very moment. This very moment where you will elevate yourself beyond what you ever were.

Some famous old timer once said, “No one can change the past, but anyone can begin today and make a new tomorrow.”

Loads of wisdom in that old dingbat.

SO…. NO, I don’t care where you come from,
Nor do I care what you do.
What you thought is your prerogative alone
What you did about what you thought, and what you faced due to it, is your cause and effect ping pong game.

What I do care, is where you are going from here, What you do from here on, what you think from this moment, and what you face due to it. Because whether you like it or not, I am now a part of your immediate past, a past which has taught you something very small about beginning every moment a new.

Congratulations, Your life just began anew ;-)
